The new trail at the Best Nature Preserve in Chardon is open. The trail used to inexplicably dead-end about half way around the lake, but now loops all the way around and is about 1 mile.
It's about a car width, maybe 6-8 feet. It would be pretty good for intervals. Over half the loop, there's pretty good visibility, but the other half has blind corners, so riding through at speed might be a little dangerous. I am planning to try it out this weekend.
I did a lap around there on Saturday. To ride around the whole trail at full speed isn't a good idea (even though it's fun). There are a couple sections of the trail that are narrow, and there are blind corners where you could easily plow into a pedestrian.
The newer trails are a pretty good place to do some sprint practice since there's a slight downhill to a flat and you can see a half mile around the lake.
But, for the most part, it's a better place to go running than riding.

How wide?? Would it work for intervals or TT work when not busy?
